When Thomas Hutter travels to Carpathia to complete a real estate transaction with the mysterious CountOrlok, he believes his fortunes have been made. The assignment from his mentor, Knock, will make him a full partner. However, Orlok has had a nearly lifelong connection to Thomas' bride, Ellen, and the transaction is merely a ploy to set in motion a plan to acquire her as his vampiric bride once and for all.
