After spending their childhood and young adulthood in New York City, longtime friends Dawn and Eden realize that their adult lives have taken vastly different paths. Yet free-spirited and single Eden discovers she is pregnant on the heels of a one-night stand, and she makes the choice to raise the child on her own despite Dawn's reservations.
